HELLO

MY NAME IS COACH NICK

Owner and Founder of The Track Closet

I started teaching high school math and coaching track soon after graduating from college, and currently live in Connecticut. I have been a head track coach for 7 years now, and am absolutely in love with the track and field community. I received my USATF Level 1 Certification in endurance, hurdles, sprints, jumps, and pole vault from Regis College, MA, and received my USATF Level 2 Certification in sprints, hurdles, and relays from St. Johns, NY.

I noticed that many school districts were purchasing track and field equipment from suppliers that were hard to work with and did not provide a sense of security when selling their products. Anyone apart of this track and field community will tell you that our athletes, coaches, and schools, are the most helpful and the most competitive. Athletes are always encouraging one another, coaches are always giving other coaches new strategies, for the better of the sport. That is what I wanted to provide when purchasing track and field equipment.

OUR MISSION

I founded this company in 2019 with a promise to only recommend equipment that will best suit your needs.

I wanted to offer equipment that will show up on competition day, and work with you during those long practices. I want to provide that friendly face to consumers when purchasing equipment and want you to know that I got your back. I want to show people that this encouraging and competitive track and field community can even be seen when purchasing track and field equipment and provide a long lasting relationship to coaches and athletes alike; to better this awesome sport.

Feel free to contact me about anything related to track and field equipment or coaching and I will personally respond.
