WELCOME TO THE TRACK AND FIELD SUMMER SERIES

This program will run from July 18th to August 10th

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

at Crosby High School Track

OUR FOCUS WILL BE:

SPRINTS, SPEED, BLOCK STARTS, and MECHANICS

ENDURANCE RUNNING, VO2 Max, and KEY WORKOUTS

HURDLE DRILLS AND TECHNIQUE

SHOTPUT AND DISCUS THROW, Techniques and Drills

If there is interest, we can also include LONG JUMP

HOW WILL YOU BENEFIT?

You will receive instruction from a USATF Level 2 Certified Coach

This will transition nicely into Cross Country Season

MOST IMPORTANTLY, Athletes start to lose their progress they attained just after 3 weeks of no practice. Participating will limit the amount lost of not practicing.

These programs combine technical development and fundamental techniques with safety and a major focus on fun! Using special equipment, our exercises and drills will prepare athletes for a future in cross-country, track and field events, distance running, while inspiring a love for running and being active.
